Artisan Jewellery Rooted in Folklore & Craft Traditions
– Basking in Bronze –
When creating the Aelia sun face I drew inspiration from the abundance of ancient mythologies, astrological deities and pagan symbols – all while keeping in mind the experience we have with the sun everyday. It’s easy to take our beautiful sun for granted, so I wanted to create something that honours her joy giving and life sustaining magic.
Unlike my other designs, the Aelia’s Warmth is a one-off design cast in bronze. It was carved directly into soft wax, and since it has no mould, it cannot be replicated. It has a beautiful stoney texture on both sides, and comes on a 45 cm gold-plated, sterling silver chain with a spring ring clasp.

The first evening star, Twyla, is a symbol of hope, a promise that even when the sun is gone, light is not extinguished. A star that sits in the fleeting twilight, carrying a quiet sense of continuity. Its stone textured surface gives it the feeling of something shaped by time, like a ancient relic found rather than made.
Each piece begins as a small wax model, shaped slowly by hand before being cast into precious metal using the lost-wax process, a method that has remained largely unchanged for thousands of years. Stones collected from the Irish coastline are pressed into the surface, leaving an organic, stone-like texture on both sides. Because each form is made individually, no two pendants are ever the same.

The Bird. Not any bird in particular. So this bird really signifies all birds. Unbound to the earth, we’ve been forever infatuated by their unique position between earth and sky. Great navigators, they move with the seasons and their leaving always promises a homecoming.

Inspired by archeological treasures, Celtic folk traditions, & the slow changing of the seasons.
Honouring ancient techniques and the slow, immersive ritual of making things by hand. Each design is a celebration of traditional craftsmanship, creative integrity, and the immersive ritual of making. Using nature’s organic forms and textures, and retaining the impressions left by my hands – each piece is truly unique, or as I say, “perfectly imperfect”.
