Jewellery Care

Silver lost its sparkle? No problem. Tarnish appearing on your silver jewellery is perfectly normal, and is almost impossible to avoid. Chlorine, makeup, cosmetics, cleaning products and even sweat contains chemicals that cause tarnishing and damage your silver. So to prevent tarnishing and prolong your jewellery’s shine, it’s a good idea to remove it when swimming (whether in a pool or the sea), showering, playing sport and especially when cleaning with harsh chemicals.

Cleaning your jewellery

Cleaning your jewellery is easy. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush dipped in a solution of water and liquid soap or mild detergent (phosphate-free). Brush gently to remove any build up of dirt and grease – especially on textured surfaces, then rinse under running water. Now dry your jewellery throughly by patting it with a paper towel, and finally polish with a lint-free cloth. Why not set aside a special polishing cloth for your jewellery, and make cleaning your silver a part of your self care ritual?
